End of the human project
On Friday, we continued and ended the human project, again, this project is made in order to make us think about the human condition, and the interactions with the others. On Thursday, we completed assignments which contained different question to start a reflexion about it. After, we had to think about a message, a picture that we'd draw on a sheet with paint.
When we finished painting all the sheets, with different messages, we presented them to all the other students and explained why we did this painting, what does it shows, what's the message. Then, we took them and we finally put them on the walls of the school.

Art museum
So today, in the afternoon, we went to a museum in Lappeenrenta.
We had to wait for our teachers during 40 minutes, so we did a "game": every one had to tell his name, and say what he likes to do, so every one knows each other better.
Then we started to visit the museum. This museum is a retrospective of the work of Juha Metso, an important Finnish photographer. The exhibition is entitled Emotion in Motion.

He has taken photos, in more than 60 countries and of different situations.
At first we've watch a short film which shows the work of the photographer
He takes photos but he also make films

City Tour
Then we went to Lappeenranta's church. Built in 1924, it was supposed to be for military orthodox and Russian garrison.
Nowadays it's a beautiful lutherian church.
After the church we took the way to Lappeenranta's Old Park
Also known as the Kissing Park, it was founded in 1850 outside the southern fortification on Lappeenranta Fortress. It is called Kissing Park, because it became a popular meeting place for men and their girlfriends. Lappeenranta's oldest kiosk, Kissing Park Kiosk, built in 1893, is situated on the edge of the park.
Human project
This morning, we had to make groups of 4 or 5, with a finnish student. First, we watched some videos from the movie Human, directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, a french photographer, reporter and director. This film presents many interviews in which people from 60 different countries answer 40 questions, which stay always the same. It deals with human conditions and it allows us to think about the meaning of life.
Moreover, each group had to choose a task and so mine chose what humans need to be happy and be united. We list some ideas about this subject and tomorrow morning we will paint on a wallshit things that represent, for us, the ideas of hapiness and union between humain beings all around the world.
